Yoga with Gemma

The class will begin with some breathwork, followed by a warm up before moving into the poses and we will finish out with a beautiful guided relaxation.

Please bring a yoga mat/exercise mat. You may want to have some water to hand also.

If you are unsure as to whether or not you should practice yoga due to any health problems, please consult your doctor.
While every effort is made in the course of sessions and classes to provide practices, exercises and training which are suitable to the student, it is the duty of the student to inform the teacher of all illnesses or weaknesses of whatever nature which might render the practices, exercises and training injurious or strenuous to the student.
It is not necessary for the student to undertake the practices, exercises and training suggested by the teacher. All practices, exercises and training are undertaken by the student voluntarily and in the event of injury, no claim will lie against the teacher.

Aroha: Health and Wellbeing

Gemma Murphy is a Holistic Therapist from Waterford who is passionate about helping people enhance their health and happiness.

It was from her own wellness journey in 2010 where Gemmas strong belief in alternative healing came that led her on her path to becoming a Reiki Master, Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Licenced Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Gemma is passionate about effectively helping people work on their own wellbeing and encourages and supports people in taking charge of their own lives.

It is her hope that people find their strength, courage and resilience in the face of life’s challenges during their time working with her and beyond.

Gemma is constantly exploring ways to enhance her wellbeing and the wellbeing of others that she instantly knew she could bring the many benefits that she has gained already through NLP, yoga and her other trainings about making healthier choices to so many people. This idea of looking at ways to enhance people’s health opened her interest in wellness in the workplace.

Most people will spend 1/3 of their adult life at work. How they feel about their work will impact every part of their day, will have a significant impact on their personal lives and their wellbeing. Naturally, Gemma brings her passion for health and helping people to her yoga classes using her holistic view on approaching life, enhancing full permission living, ensuring people are living their best life with absolute belief in themselves.
